Operating as a sister to the more well-known Jewson, Jewson Partnership Solutions offer bespoke services to Registered Social Housing Providers, Repairs & Maintenance Contractors and Public Sector organisations.

One of their most successful services is the AVAIL app, offering a single solution to dozens of clients across the UK. AVAIL provides clients with an Inventory Management System that can be customised to their individual needs, allowing their operatives to complete jobs first time with full stock management, and efficient material collection points.

Working for over a year as the primary UI designer for the project, I aided the business in responding to feature requests from large clients, and allowing the business to secure more contracts. During my time on the project, along with our UX lead, I designed solutions to create an easy to understand offline mode, ensuring operatives didn’t end up with out-of-sync stock levels, as well as a redesign of the Orders screen to simplify complex back-end systems such as splitting orders into multiple collections and tracing histories on orders transferred between operatives.
